TC West Girls Wrestling
High School
- High School female wrestlers compete in all girls tournaments each weekend during the season and also have the option to compete with the boys in team competition and in individual tournaments if they choose.
- High School girls have the opportunity to qualify for the all girls individual state finals which was officially added during the 2021-2022 season. The girls compete at Ford Field along side the other 4 divisions.
- Girls Wrestling Coach: TC West High School hired Adam Beers as the girls wrestling coach starting the 2023-2024 season. This addition shows the commitment of TC West to the growth of girls wrestling and will help with the recruitment of new female wrestlers and the development of female wrestlers.
- The TC West Middle School program, the girls compete along with the boys, however girls are matched up with other girls for competition whenever possible. Middle School female wrestlers also have the opportunity to wrestle in the all girls division of the MYWAY State Championship through the Titan Pipeline wrestling club.
- Elementary opportunities for girls include the LEAP program for new wrestlers and Titan Pipeline for experienced female wrestlers. Elementary girls compete with both boys and girls and are eligible to compete in the MYWAY Girls State Championship through Titan Pipeline wrestling club.

Girls Wrestling - Michigan
Girls Wrestling is one of the fastest growing sports in the State of Michigan. The MHSAA officially made girls wrestling a championship sport for the 2021-2022 school year with a 5th division being added at the individual level. This will allow girls to wrestle all girls to compete for an individual State Title, which is a huge step for girls wrestling in the State of Michigan.
Women's Wrestling - College Level
Women's wrestling at the collegiate level is growing at a rapid pace as well. In 2020 Women's Wrestling was granted "Emerging Sport" status by the NCAA, which means it is on track to become an official championship sport alongside Men's Wrestling. This has opened up huge opportunities for female athletes to gain college scholarships for Women's wrestling. As of October 2023 there are 124 women's college wrestling programs and 76 clubs across the country. The State of Michigan has 7 programs currently including:

Northern Michigan University
Siena Heights University
Women's Wrestling - International Level
Women's wrestling is also exploding at the international level as well being added as an Olympic sport in 2004. In 2016 Helen Maroulis became the first US woman to win a gold medal. In the 2020 Olympics the US women placed in 4 of 6 weight classes including a gold medal for Tamyra Mensah-Stock.
